Expectations unfulfilled

Our Expectation at most times are'nt full filled, why is that so?

i have many expectations on many things and people, i do expect alot of things, but most times it has failed, i feel very bad when people dont keep up to their words.

why should i expect something then, i think that expectations is the cause of all our depressions and sadness. when people dont expect anything from anyone, everything seems to be a surpise, things always are good.

but why do people expect something from anyone, be it a greeting card for birthday, gifts, favours, money, bribe, or anything. not because they have done something the same for others but sheer laziness and selfishness. Our lord God has said do to others whatever you want others to do it for you.

Bribe or favour are apart of the expectations, if a person doesnt do as the expectant then the person gets punished or dealt in a way which is doesnt favour him.

When we dont expect anything even a return favor it always makes us to stand up and keep our heads up in achieving a task of helping others.

and helping without expecting anything in return, not even from God is the noblest things on earth.

Let keep doing our good deeds as long as we can, otherwise lets stick to simple things, but let try keep our expectations the minimum. this will make us strong, make us confident on ourselves, our hard work alone will lead us to victory.
